Art is a wonderful form of expression. This is why we want to put on art shows
and events that showcase peoples individuality. We only ask that people submit
unique works that reflect their own voices and respect the particular theme of the
event in which they are participating.
The RED projectx motto is "prescribing art with attitude for everyone"
We are interested in "integrating" art. This means all different types of art - visual,
performing, and musical arts. I want to put on shows where all these forms of art
are present and appreciated. I want a forum for cross-networking amongst artists
so that we have a stronger, louder, more active support network. Artists need a
louder more cohesive voice to let others know that this industry is just as vital for
a society to thrive, as any other industry. We can achieve this if we form a more
united team which supports one another, regardless of differences in tastes and
opinions. Just appreciate art for art's sake and help one another promote the
business and visibility of your art!
We provide the service of producing art events. These events include shows,
exhibitions, etc. These events can showcase a particular artist or they can be
centered around a theme.
Eventually we want to get a warehouse space to have our events in. Until then we
will utilizing other spaces and venues.
Red began the RED projectx in February 2008. She got the idea when she
decided she wanted to be more involved in the business aspect of her art. She
wanted to be the one to collect commissions off art works and make the door
profits at art events. This idea was inspired when she was at the 2008 Dirty
Show in Detroit, MI. Red wants to use this site to personally thank the gentlemen
that host that show annually for providing her with the inspiration necessary to
continuing forging her own path within the art industry.
RED is really interested in social causes both in the local and international
